Cooking with local ingredients has delicious results as Chef Magaña demonstrated on Good Morning Northwest – KAPP/KVEW this morning.
The Washington Wine Country chef is “a culinarian with no limits, eager to create the perfect pairing with the fruit of his neighbors and a glass from a winemaker down the street.”
We at Chukar feel privileged to be Chef Magaña’s neighbor and to taste the incredible cherry creations that come out of his kitchen. Today he wowed us with Macadamia Nut and Cumin Crusted Salmon with Chukar’s Peach Cherry Salsa, Garlic Scampi with Chukar’s Cherry Pomegranate Chutney, and Chocolate Cupcakes filled with Chukar’s Chocolate Cherry Dessert Sauce.
